Phi Beta Fraternity

To join Phi Beta, you must first participate in the recruitment process. The recruitment process includes attending 2 parties and then getting an invite back to the third party. After the third party, current members vote on extending bids of invitation to participate in the PME (probationary member education) process. At the end of PME, current members vote one more time before probationary members can become full members of Phi Beta. The entire process takes about 2 months.

New Member Dues for Fall and Spring Semesters are $100.

Recruitment Schedule

Fall 2008:

1st Party - September 16th @ 6pm
Where: Schaaf Lawn
What: Carnival Style party
   Play carnival games, win prizes, and get to know Phi Beta!

2nd Party - September 23rd @ 6pm
Where: Meet in S.S. Lobby, follow down to the Phi Beta Frat Room
What: Movies and Games
   Hang out with Phi Beta, watch a cool movie, and play some games. Popcorn and drinks provided 

3rd Party (Invite Only) - September 30th @ 8pm
Where: Meet in the SA Lobby at 7:45pm
What: Traditional invite only party; business casual dress 

Spring 2009 (dates are tentative)

1st Party - January 20th @ 6pm
Where: Schneider Multipurpose Room
What: Pirates vs. Ninjas Night
   The ultimate melee! Find out who is better: pirates or ninjas?

2nd Party - January 27th @ 6pm
Where: Meet in S.S. Lobby, follow down to the Phi Beta Frat Room
What: Movies and Games
   Hang out with Phi Beta, watch a movie, play some games and get to know the brothers
   and sisters of Phi Beta. Popcorn/snacks and drinks provided.

 3rd Party (Invite Only) - February 3rd @ 8pm
Where: Meet in the SA Lobby at 7:45pm
What: Traditional invite only party; business casual dress
